Hehe, oh yea!!

Question: How do sockets work? I just put 2 CA's with the same (plus other irrelevant) skills into a piece of clothing & only one CA "stuck". Why?

only the highest value stick if you put in more than one CA with the same mod.

Sorry, another question has occurred.

Does "four" sockets available mean I can put four CA's into it & the best four skill bonus' will stick, or does four mean the number of skills that can get a bonus?

In other words, say I have a 4 sock jacket with 2 high skills that I want, & another 2 lower skills that I don't (but were part of the CA's that the high skills were on), can I put another CA in with a third high skill that I want, that will "overwrite" the lowest skill, giving me 3 high wanted skill bonus' & one low one?

ie. I can keep chucking as many CA's at the jacket as I like, & it will just stick the highest four (or 3 in a 3 socket article)...?

Phew...

Each CA bonus takes up 1 socket, if you have a CA with 2 bonuses and an item of clothing with 4 sockets it should take up 2 of those sockets leaving 2 free.

Once all 4 sockets are used you cannot add any more CAs to that item, as far as I know they won't overwrite any other CA bonuses in that item of clothing.

There is a CA guide in the big 'Read me before posting' sticky at the top of the tailor forum.
