Hi! I just became a Novice Tailor. I've already loaded up my vendor with just about everything I can make, but I have two questions.

1. My color choices seem a bit limited compared to what I've seen other tailors make. Do the color choices expand with higher skill?

2. What is the best thing I can make at Novice to earn tailor xp? I really want to move up a couple of skills, but I don't know what gives you teh best xp for the buck.

Thanks for the help!

Yup yup, farthest to the right on the skill tree, higher that skill is the more colors you get.

Thanks for the answer to the Color problem!

Now what should I craft to get those blocks? A Master Tailor I met online suggested Military packs for 100xp each. Is this the best we have at Novice? That's over 300 packs to get one skill block! I don't even want to think about how many Durnis I will have to slaughter to make that many!

Any other suggestions on what gives the best xp, or are Military Packs the answer?

ribbed shirt (metal and fiberP) up tolink steel reinforced gloves. both are 2 resource, no sub combine iems. gloves give 150ish xp (on practice). I gloves up to field wear 4 (couple-6 hours straight grindif resources stock piled) thenmade the money stuff and the xpflowed after that.

Make ribbed shirts until you can make cartridge belts. Then, make them to master. It's easy but time consuming. You'll use a lot of metal, fiberplast, and iron.

If I were you, get up to field gear IV.
You will be able to make bio clothing to sell, and most guys want basic black anyways so you're all set. Plus the military clothing sells well and also you can sell crates to armorsmiths for extra cash.
