I am debating going into Tailoring as a profession and have a simple, and likely stupid question that I cannot find the answer to...
What is Clothing Customization? Why is it better to have +255 (Master Artisan/Master Tailor) then +200 (Master Tailor)? Is it just coloring? Does this affect things like sockets? Quality? Please let me know... I'd prefer not to master artisan if I can avoid it, but I wonder what I'll be missing out on.
Thank you!

Tailor is one of those things you can't really dabble in because most of the good colors (red!! purple!! orange!!) are at master.

If we didn't have to experiment on the Armor Padding items I'd say you only really need to be a 0-3-1-0 Tailor to make the "most important" tailored items…

well, i guess it depends on what you mean by "most important"... with 0/3/1/0 the color selection is awful limited, and you won't get a lot of the "pretty" female-oriented clothing. that template caters to boys who want black dusters and black camos and such

hehe like me! Just kidding, actually as a Master Musician on Bria, I am often looking up one of my (many) tailor friends for a new outfit.Iusuallyneed master colors too. Now, a refiinement of sorts to the original poster's question: If you have +25 Clothing customization at master, what colors are added and to which pallates?

Sorry, forgot to add the sarcasm tag—you don't even get camos with that. What you do get is all of the components we're being gently urged to sell more and more of.

heh, i won't come hunt you down then
i used to sell components, but no longer do... people get pissy when (god forbid) i have my own stuff to take care of and run low in stock. the day those padded armor thingies were released on live i even got a cross-server tell from someone i know asking me to make him a schem O.o it's somewhat disappointing (to me) to see this profession gradually turn into "component supplier" instead. i like doing things such as helping people decorate their houses with clothing (making curtains, fish tanks, etc), but components require no creativity on our part, and creativity is what i personally think sets us apart from some of the other crafting professions
goes to show how long i haven't looked into the tailoring trees... i have little clue what goes where now, too used to being able to make them all
