Sorry for going OT here, but you guys are the closest thing to friends I have in the community

I'm listening to William Hung's CD (the American Idol "SHe Bangs" guy) OMG, I have not had such a good laugh in awhile. Totally brightened my day! The kid's got moxie though!

i had NO clue who he was until about 10 minutes ago... watched VH1, and my first reaction was "WTH?"

... my reaction right now is still "WTH?" he sounds no worse than most of the pop stars out there right now i guess, i'll give him credit for that O.o

of course, now my boyfriend's in the background doing "tai mai shu"... if you haven't heard that one, find a copy. you'll laugh your booty off

As of William Hung, UGH!!! That guy has absolutely no talent. Doesn't he evenfeel ashamed and humiliated that the only reason he's "known" to the world is because he is a complete talentless tart and the whole world is making a fool out of him to get a good laugh? *Sigh* I don't understand it nowadays... people become rich from being an ass of himself...

I don't really 'get' the whole William Hung thing myself. Maybe I am too old to understand it. However, he is a nice kid and is now living the american dream.... so let him have fun while his popularity lasts because we all know he will be just a flash in the pan, a one hit wonder. Maybe he is popular because he can't sing, Americans are rebelling against all the Britney Spears wanna-bes.

I think just about anyone will make an ass out of them selves for a couple million, but this kid's only getting like 27k for this record!

Considering the boy can't sing to save his grandmother, that's really not a bad amount of money.

I CAN sing, and I've never gotten anywhere NEAR that for any of my gigs. LOL
