Thread: Crafting macro and cartridge belts
Hehe, you're lucky I was lurking on this forum.
Ok, first of all, anytime you use a crafting macro within range of a public crafting station, private crafting station, ranger camp with a crafting station, or a droid with the crafting station, you will get NO xp. So that would explain your 2nd problem.
To address your problem of the numbering of the schematic, let me explain. If you open up your datapad and select the 'draft schematics tab' the first draft schematic icon you see is 01 (or maybe it's 00) and then they follow sequentially. So if you try a number and get the icon 4 slots before the one you want, just add 4 and you got it. But again there's two things you gotta understand. If you change the order or view in your datapad of the icons, the numbers will change also, so once you find the correct number, FORGET YOUR DATAPAD EVEN EXISTS, or you'll have to start all over in finding the number. Now the problem you're having is that you are using a clothing crafting tool and not all the schematics in your datapad will work with this. For example, you can't craft a personal harvestor with a clothing / armor crafting tool. So say that ribbed shirt is 48, and 45-47 are all personal harvestors or some other non clothing / armor item. If you then use 47 in your macro, it will default to the nearest item craftable with the tool you're using. So this would explain why all your numbers are giving the same item to craft.
The easiest way to find the correct schematic number is to find the item you want in your datapad and note its general placement amongst the rest. Start your crafting tool (NOT your crafting macro). Type '/selectDraftSchematic 50' in your chat bar. 50 is just a good round number to start with. Note the item it brings you to, then note its placement in your datapad compared to the one you want. Hit the back tab on the crafting session, then hit Ctrl+UpArrow and type in a new number to replace 50. I would suggest sticking with increments of 10 until you get pretty close to the one you want. By sticking to increments of 10, you eliminate the redundancy that you were experiencing.
Hope this helps. Good luck
