Issue No. 1Reward Schematics:

Many times my Master tailor on Ahazi has been asked to make Crafter's Aprons and Weaponsmiths toolkits. Thats all well and good, if they provide the materials or if i have them. However, the fact that the crafter's apron for example, requires 2 identical portions of heavy duty leather from a factory crate i.e. the same serial number kind of doesn't make sense. Portions of heavy duty leather as we all know cannot be mass produced in a factory. So a tailor is pretty much SOL if they have aquired portions with all different serial numbers. And not all of us have thesufficiant combat skills to just fight things to loot some more.Same is true of heavy duty clasps.

I also feel the the 'Crafter's Apron' reward schematic should not be random. It makes it difficut if someone wants something made from it but doesnt know all the components that will be needed until the tailor learns the schematic.Besides it must make someoneawefully dissapointed if they went through all the trouble of travelling, and combat and maybe dying a few times, to get a reward schematic, only to find its going to be something that is no use to them, because they are a Doctor and the schematic turns out to be an Architect crafter's apron for example. I feel it should not be random, but if it must be random at least have itso the actual profession type is indicated on the schematic please.

Issue No. 2 Twi'lek Noble Crests-Green Diamond Crystalline Gemstone

What is the point of making that component of this headpiece so rare, when everything else is so common? I have been master tailor for a while now and at least on Ahazi, I have yet to see it actually spawn ANY where. I have sent out survey droids but its either just not anywhere or the droids are missing it. Please make Green Diamond Crystalline Gemstone alot more common OR change the type of gemstone required to make the Twi'lek Noble Crest. I would like to be able to make these too if i am asked. A minor concern to be sure but im positive im not the only tailor who can't find any of the stuff.

Please note these are simply my concerns and no hostilitly is directed at anyone, thank you.

My original purpose for posting this was to find out if anyone else had these problems too and post if they do. And these are not the same issues that have been brough up before that i have seen, such as the necklace issue. I asked if there was a thread that tailors can post their feed back on and there was none, and i was told either become a correspondent member or do a normal post and see if the tailor correspondent thought my issues were worth being brought up to the DEVs or SOE, or whoever they need to. It was meant to be an open discussion with no hostility directed at anyone, as to why these concerns I have are in place. I also will accept if the tailor correspondent can come in and possibly address my concerns and simply explain why they are in place. However it is a little hard not to be vexed or upset when it seems my issues have been ignored.

Perhaps the tailor correspondent should create a thread as they do on the ID board, for players to address issues, feedback and bugs. What is the use of having the SOE forums as a whole, for the purpose of discussion, and game feedback if not just me, but many other who have concerns that we post, arent even looked at by those they are meant for? True when it comes to new patches, the correspondents and DEVs are great in explaining how the new stuff will work. But between patches, some of us it seems are SOL when it comes to our concerns. I understand that NJ62 is probably often just as in the dark as the rest of us, and that she works hard to address many of the issues that come up and bring attention of it to the DEVs, so in no way am I questioning her job or usefulness on the tailor board.

While I haven't seen the GD Crystaline Gemstone issue mentioned too often, the loot schematic issue was hotly debated after their introduction. We've said pretty much everything that can be said about them, and the information has already been passed on to the devs. At the moment, we tailors are in an interesting position, because we're so hopelessly married to the art department in terms of addition content as well as bug fixes. Until after JtL comes out it's quite likely that we won't see much of anything done for/to our profession, and until such time as any changes are made there's very little we have to discuss—it's all been said before.

So in general, you'll find that this forum is more a place for tailors to meet and discuss business, rather than to address issues in our profession. As I said, we've gone over pretty much everything there is to go over time and time again—the recent top 20 compiled by n'Jessi should clearly show that. To sum up: you're not alone in your concerns, but we're all pretty tired of chasing our tails when it comes to issues like this that we have no expectation of seeing addressed.

Ok here is some feedback...

For number 1, you can get sets of up to 10 or 11 portions of heavy leather with the same serial number, so it's not really an issue. You can use single ones in backpacks, even if I agree that nobody in their right mind would waste a charge of a schematic for one item (except when you click on the wrong things like I did haha). As far as I am concerned though, we are not the only crafters depending on such loot drops, even if I agree than having it combined to limited use schematics is annoying. My main concern would bethat theymade the weaponsmith and droidsmith toolkits a bandolier when most crafters can't afford to give up their backpack and the fact that they forgot armorsmiths. All in all though... Those aprons and packs don't sell enough anymore to make them a real issue in my opinion.

For number 2, they don't sell much, and every single crafting profession has some rare resources, so I don't have any problem with it.
