Ok.. I just created about 20 Tailor-schematic clothes and received ZERO XP.

I made several pieces of jewelry, some councilman's robes, formal shirts, and a few other items. I am getting NO Tailor XP. I am Novice Tailor and am thinking this is going to be a very very long grind if I get 0 XP per item.

Help!

you might be bugged, try taking a shuttle.

also, make sure you are making things from at least novice tailor box, on up

Are you sure you're not getting XP? Have you tried to log out and back in (all the way out). It doesn't show on screen that you are getting xp only when you look through you skill box or skill indicator and that can get stuck and not update (known bug). Just log out and back in and check your xp. If you still have a problem.. well lets go there then.

Yes, sometimes xp "catches up" to you, when you relog or something. Also, unlike other professions, we don't get a system message for when we get xp, crafting xp is stealth xp.

Sure enough I was bugged. I did a quick SHIFT-ESC disconnect and reconnect and poof, my XP was there!

I am grinding weaponsmith right now, and that XP thing is a known bug. There will be a fix for that very soon. Thunderheart posted it in one of the forums. It was mentioned in Publish 9 on TC or something. I'm not sure, but it will be fixed soon.

The first time that happened to me, my jaw dropped, but I disc / reconnected and they were there... Phew!
