Sadly enough, most people are still buying a lot of black.. My most recent order was for a suit and a decorative grand healer's robe, but aside from that the ever-present bustier-and-pants-with-stripe outfit is still quite popular
And hawtpants... musn't forget the hawtpants...

Hope I don't reveal anyone's secrets, but this is likely common knowledge.
As much as i hate this combination simply because its so common, the Decorative Vest along with the Two-Tone Formal Skirt ALWAYS sell out both at the bazaar and on my vendor - at least on Starsider.
I've never seen sales slow down with these items. The colors people want are black + red/blue/green/purple/white etc. As long as one of the colors is black.

This is a Website put out by Panni, mainly about Image Designs, but she also gives some interesting ideas for full outfits, male and female using the current clothes that are available. Just click style ideas
Lightsider Image Designs
Here is another from a tailor on Lowca. She also has the different clothing pallets shown and numbered, though not all tailors will have a numbering system. It is a Tripod site just so you know.
Helix Fashions & More
As for fashion trends I have seen the use of Mabari and Padded armor along with clothing, My characters are no exception. For example I saw a very dignified outfit using padded armor chest, arm pieces, along with the boots in use with a two tone formal skirt, and the colors in the armor matched the skirt perfectly.

I have also noticed that the 2-toned dec-vest combo sells. then again i where one in yellow with a black under shirt trying to pull off the mortal combat scorpin look. people just come up and ask "how much for what you are wearing?".
I have also been naughty and taken pic of people where cool outfits. wheather it is my latest customer or that random person running by.

I formed a interesting looking outfit with my alt who is a TK. Its a tantel chest plate, with those cute little daisy duke shorts and tantel armor boots with ubese gloves. It looks really intimidating like something you would see on a thug but its pretty neat.

I've been doing something a little naughty (well maybe) and have been taking screenshots of players I see on my travels who look good. I'm hoping to build up an Infinity style book at some point but I'm still working on it. Its a cheaper way of seeing what looks good together, and what looks bad, and it also gives me ideas I might not have thought of.
