Hi, I am just interested to know how many tailors charge more for 4 socketed items.

I personaly don't and don't separate those items from others with less sockets. Also I am curious to know if you separate the 4 sockets items and charge more for them do they sell faster than others or about the same?

Dunno if this is what you're looking for, but I'm just like you. I don't even look at how many sockets my items have.

I do not charge for sockets either, and they do not sell any differently from vendor since most who want the four sockets order a four socket item.

Unless the item to be made has BE in it, I won't charge for the tries to get four sockets,I call it making stock.

If it does have BE in it, then they get to pay for every BE tissue used in the attempt and take away only the socketed item.

Personally, when someone comes to me thatabsolutely must have4 sockets in an item, there is a flat fee of 5k+ the item pricefor that article of clothing. Even though I mostly stock the vendor with overflow items, there is the time factor, I could hit that 4 sockets on the first try or it could take me 20 (if you knew my luck, you'd know this happens to me often). For BE items I do not take 4 socket orders, I do not have many tissues nor do I go out of my way to aquire them. I'm not lazy, I just prefer tomake clothing that will look good rather than grind shirts till I get the sockets.

I, however, never have and never will charge more for 4 sockets on an item when it comes up during the process of normal crafting. Nor will I sell an item for less due to it having 1 or no sockets. These clothes are to make people look good. And that my friends, is my number one delight in tailoring

Perhaps I will make some basic "4 socket" pants, shirts, boots, gloves, jacket, hatand belts... factory run them and sell them off that way.

I don't charge extra for 4-socketed items.

However.. I think every tailor has got an order to make a certain piece of clothing with four sockets at least once. When I am in that situation, I tell the customer in advance that I have no control over how many sockets I will be getting and that if he wanted the gloves (example) with four sockets, he would have to pay me for every pair of gloves I craft prior to the 4-socketed pair.

I do not charge for 4 socket items during normal crafting. If a customer requests a 4 socket item then I charge them for every try it takes. They walk away with the one 4 socket item that they requested. I will ONLY do socketed BE items for guild members. I stock my Bio vendors very nicely with 1-4 socket BE items that come up during normal crafting. If a customer wants a sockted BE item they are welcome to watch the vendors. Between being a Master Tailor for the last year and a half, running a large crafting guild, helping the mayor run our city, etc.. I do not have the time to do socketed BE items for just anyone who requests them. I try very hard to make each and every customer happy, but the line has to be drawn somewhere, lol.

Interesting.

I have been geting a lot of 4 socket requests recently and even then I am reluctant to charge more for the items.
