In the 'PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING' thread there is a link for the standard grind for tailor. I used a slightly different method to grind it myself. My method does require quite a bit of hide to do though.

First thing to grind is Ribbed Shirts. Get Casualwear I and then switch to Tipless Gloves. After this continue up Casualwear to level III and then switch to Cloaks. Grind cloaks and work your way up the Fieldwear line until you get Cartridge Belts or use Cloaks to finish the grind. Cloaks use hide but are only 2 resources to the cartridge belt's 3. The ribbed shirts give 147xp, Tipless Gloves give 173xp,the Cloaks give 288xp and Cartridge Belts give 299xp (all in practice mode).

So..

Casual Wear1 -32000xp - 218 Ribbed Shirts

Casual Wear 2 - 44800xp - 259 Tipless Gloves

Casual Wear 3 - 57600xp - 333 Tipless Gloves

Field Wear 1 - 32000xp - 111 Cloaks

Field Wear 2 - 44800xp - 156 Cloaks

Field Wear 3 - 57600xp - 200 Cloaks

Field Wear 4 - 70400xp - 592 Cloaks

Rest of the Skills at 299xp each comes to 1606 Cartridge Belts for a total of 3128 items to grind instead of the standard grind of 3455 items. Plus you have cloaks (hood up) to sell part way through. If you get 7-10 items per minute with your grind then you can save 30-60 minutes off the grind this way, but the biggest factor is the availability of hides. My alt is a combat type with scout skills so I had plenty of hide laying around.
