There seems to be almost no bio engineer making tissues and even less tailors making enhanced clothes on my server. I made a vendor especially for it, and got about 130 items on it at the moment, with different bonuses.

I make my own tissues, but I only have the material for about 30 14/15 clothes of each type, and I won't be able to get more unless I find better meat for sale on the server.

The problem is as follows - everyone is asking me for custom orders with the max bonuses. Every 14/14 or 15 item at 10k or so will sell in the next hours. I just increased my prices, some items going for up to 15k now... and I'm still getting tells. I can't keep up with that and I have already refused custom orders for 3 customers.

What would you do? Should I just use all my good bonuses on items on the vendor or save them for special orders, knowing that if I start doing that I won't have the material to keep up? Should I increase my prices to something crazy like 30k a piece to have more time to get components and make the tissues as more customers will be discouraged?

In 2 days I haven't been able to make any normal clothes.

You should lower your prices and only take orders (for special clothing) by email and simply confirm the order and in your reply tell the person how long it should take. High prices will just make people go seek someplace else if they have to wait but if your prices are good and you can get it in 1-2 days then you should be fine.

Sometimes putting yourself /afk while you craft helps too, people just won't bother as much. If you are too busy loose the tailor tag for a bit.Try perhaps making crates of certain regularclothes and just sell those by the bazzar. Then while those are being made you have time to make your special outfits.

It is also great to have one bio engineer to work with so they can concentrate on making the tissues and you can concentrate on making the clothes. You guys can fix prices together and do 50/50.

I'd say keep raising your prices until your workload becomes managable

I contacted the only BE who advertised for his tissues, ordered him some and I am still waiting for a replylol. It seems that BEs are pretty rare on my server to say the least.

My other concern is that I want to offer people those clothes but I don't want it to be too much hassle as I don't need the money. With higher prices I am hoping to get some rest but the feedback I got so far is that people are willing to pay even 50k to get what they want, so I don't really see the point of lowering my prices (I actually increased them again after a guy bought three 14/14 medic enhancements clothes at once for like 40k overall...).

I want to be able to maintain the best stuff on my vendor and sell a few ofeach a day, not12 like it has been the case for two days. I will run out of ingredients too fast at that rate. And I really feel for the other BEs because findinggood meat/avian bone/eggs is almost impossible, I've been buying everything I can find on sale for a week but it's almost never available in stacks of 500+. Unless people play a ton and can take the time of harvesting their own ingredients or have lots of friends to help them, it will be very hard to find the tissues pretty soon.

Raise your prices and hire out people to gather the resources. If you know what meat you want, and you offer enough, people will hunt it for you. Some medics on my server offer from 20 cpu all the way to 45 cpu for high qualityherb and avian meats when they shift onto the server. It is higher when not many creatures drop what you want and those creatures are very high (tough to kill) or very low (not much per kill)level. You just have to find the spot where you can meet the demand and still afford the resources.

It's actually been working out for me so far. Actually factory throughput is more of a bottleneck than resources. I visited 3 planets and bought up pretty much every decent sized stack of meat/hide/bone of 500 OQ or above. One consequence of doing this was that several of the people that I was buying from on the bazar contacted me afterwards offering to supply me in the future. Also some of my customers have now become suppliers. So far so good, but I'm supplying another tailor in addition to myself so it is a struggle to crank out enough in the factories.
