Hiya, /wave

I finished up my master tailor character a few weeks ago and have truley enjoyed being master. I can buff and res and it's just plain old fun. I admit though the crafting portion of the doc isn't to fund. The one part of it that i get pleasure out of is crafting the enhances, because each one I do by hand is differnt and I am alwasy trying to out-do myself. Stim's on the other hand arn't pretty and i don't even like healing people anymore because I have done it so much. I LIKE res'ing people and enhancing people. Besides the non master's need the XP I don't.

So the last few weeks as doc everyone wants me to come along and res and I keep getting tef'd and killed in AH and it just kinda hasn't been fun. Being a doc is fun, but sometimes i feel obligated to help all those around me and I just wanna sit and do nothing in the cantina. Maybe i wanna chat or something. But I get attacked by 40 tells from people who want something from me (yes I know tailor won't fix this lol).

So I decided to start a new character and be a tailor because I luv cloths and I just can't seem to get what i want from a tailor. I can't explain the color I want correclty and it's to hard going through them. I am a graphics designer in real life so I am uber picky about colors, style and fit! I WANT TO COVER THE GALAXY and beutiful cloths! I want to assist the fasion victoms. I want to cure a fasion emergency!! I want to see more earth tones done WELL. More natural colors or more contrasting outfits that look starwars-ish.

I have thought about not having a vendor and being a specialty shop were i only sell full outfits. I dunno. Something like that. I probably won't but it's just an idea.

Somehow the journey to master is probably more fun then master itself. The happyness in getting a nw schimatic or color... or finally being able to make that dress you wanted!

Anways I am Tesra Elation (AKA Dr. Starphire Elation) and I hang on tarquinas in the AH cantina. I made it to novice dancer and novice tailor in 2 loooooong days Now I am relaxing and working my way sloooooowly up the tree's!

I think that you'll enjoy the profession as long as you keep your people-skills as good as you describe them.

This forum rocks also - alot of experts here and alot of good, useful info. Also a nice place to vent. You'll see what I mean soon enough.
