Thread: Need some help figuring out how many tissues I need for 3 pieces of clothing
I've been asking tailors and BE in-game to help me with this, without much luck. Tonight a BE pointed me to the zephyrdesigns.moonfruit.com website which is as close to seeing how it works as I've gotten.
However there is a serious lack of clear explanations on some aspects. Not to mention that not all clothes are listed, which could either mean that the site is incomplete or the missing clothes cant be tissue'd.
At any rate, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out, taking into consideration caps and whatnot, how many types of tissues and how many of each type could be fit into the following: 1 gunman's duster, 1 padded workpants, 1 reinforced workshirt.
I understand some clothing can take both pannels and cloth, and combat-oriented tissues go into pannels and more passive ones into cloth. I'm a ranger with some CH and nearly master swordsman, so I tried to pick clothing that were mostly in the field wear line, which usually involves pannels. So the tissues that would be the most useful to me are tensile resistance, coagulent agents, fear release and scent neutralization. As far as the tissues for cloth go, the only one remotely useful to me is the active tranqs, but the milk requirement makes it uncraftable as there is no milk that I know of to be found anywhere. So the cloth components can be tissue-free. The pannels, for me it seems, are where its at.
If anyone who has worked with tissues could help me with this, if its not too much trouble, it would be simply great, as i've been dragging this along ever since the patch and would love to just get a hold of my new outfit already.
I'm not on your server, but here's what you would need for your clothes:
- Reinforced workshirt: 1 reinforced fiber panel
- Reinforced fiber panels can use the tensile resistance, coagulent agents, fear release or scent neutralization bonus you are looking for
- Padded workpant: 1reinforced fiber panels, and 2 factory synthetic cloth
- Synthetic cloths use injury/wound and entertainment tissues. But you can just use plain factory synthetic cloth and 1 enhanced reinforced fiber panel if you don't want those bonuses
- Gunman's duster: 4factory synthetic cloths
- Factory tissue problem:stacking doesn't work. So you have to use 4 enhanced fact synth cloths, but you only get the bonus of 1. A tailor will be reluctant to make this for you unless you pay for all 4 enhanced cloths.
Hope that helps.

If you decide to do a spec-ops jacket you can get 1 RFP (stats listed in previous reply) and 2 synth cloth (do not stack for stats), however you can stack and RFP with Synth and get 2 stats on this one item.

Also remember that if you are providing the tissues (or you are the tailor who is going to make the duster and don't have much experience with tissues) you need to 1) find a bioengineer with a factory to provide crates of identical tissues and 2) You need to get a crate of at least three tissues so that you can make a schematic to put in your factory and make at least 2 identical synthetic cloths. I have personally found that making a complicated outfit with BE tissues can take a bit of planning in order to mimimize wasting tissues.
