Hi all. I am planning on taking tailor as soon as I master musician and setting up a 'Music Shop' called Ikeoh's Music. I'm going to stock every instrument both individually and in full sets and as wide a range of clothing deemed suitable for an entertainer as I can but I need some advice on what to stock. My motivation in doing this is that I often struggle to find the piece of clothing I want in the right colour, few tailors seem to stock a wide range of colour in the sort of clothing entertainers wear.
I have come up with this for my current proposed clothing stocklist:
Exotic Leotard
Revealing Fleshwrap
Exquisite Gown
Grand Twi'lek Headpiece
Lekku Wrap
Tactical Skinsuit
HAWTPANTS!!
Pleated Skirt
Wrapped Skirt
Light Bustier
Sports Bustier
Small Bustier
Ribbed Pants
Ribbed Shirt
Patterned Slip Dress
Trim Lined Shirt
Uniform Boots
Sandals
Emerald Pendant
Dress Slippers
Decorative Vest
Striped Slacks
Some sort of long glove, undecided at present moment as to which
I'd also like some advice about which colours are good to stock. So far I'm thinking along the lines of most things bright and bold for the skimpy, skintight clothes (bright reds, yellows, blues, white etc.) with contrasting colours for the tactical skinsuit (red/black, black/white, black/yellow, blue/white and so on)
For the more conservative clothes I will use pastelly colours.
And for the HAWTPANTs I will stock as many colours as I possibly can!
Any advice would be greatly apriciated

I'm partial to sets, especially bustiers and revealing tops paired with the various types of skirts. The pleated and wrapped skirts are especially nice since you can use two colors for them. You'll also find that need accessories such as jewelery and shoes.
Regarding colors, I've found that bright clothes that help an entertainer stand out in the dim cantinas are particularly nice. My summer "fruit salad" collection of colors such as Mango, Melon, Tangerine and Lime sold very well. Now that fall is coming, I'm going to start crafting clothes in jewel tones and metallics. The trick is to help your customers look unique and stylish.
Hope this helps!

Another thing I just thought of, is there anything I have listed that you think I should not stock?

You may be surprised at what some of the veteran entertainers will want. I am never surprised when i see master dancers come in to order the scout jacket or something similarly less revealing.
My only solution was to keep my vendors stocked with at least one of everything as often as i can hehe.

You might want to consider stocking in a variety of colors the fashionably pleated skirt. I sell alot of those. Any of the shirts that are for women (low cut, revealing bikini, etc) are good to stock, as they pair well with the skirts. I also think that the sports wraps are gorgeous, and go well with a variety of bottoms. I tend to sell alot of black and white colors and like one of the posters said, make sure you have shoes in matching colors to choose from. There is nothing worse than picking out a matching outfit with no shoes to go with it.
Good luck!

Most of the bracelets, especially the bangles, work great. I also sell plenty of the emerald pendants, but I stock those in various colors like ruby, sapphire and diamond (white). For shoes, dress slippers and sandalsseem to work best for entertainers. But don't forget to have a few pairs of white go-go(uniform) boots

My biggest seller is the Patterned Slip Dress. Might want to add that to your stock. Also, the trim lined shirt is a best seller with my male clients. Much luck to you.

Male Entertainers especially musicians LOVE the decorative vest. Most pair this with striped slacks and dress shoes.
