Thread: Leia's Slave Bikini bottoms in game (Screens included)

Hello all,

First off, I'd like to apologize if this was already discovered/discussed earlier, I am not a tailor so I have not been through this board to see.

I was on Talus day before yesterday, in Nashal, and encountered a Chunker NPC character that was partially stuck in the wall and thus did not attack me. Upon use of the /examine command, I realized that the Chunker was wearing the Leia bikini bottoms that tailors are thus far unable to make! This is the first and only time that I have encountered an NPC with this on, but I thought I would post the screens I took and allow people to see that they do indeed exist. I posted 3 screens from different angles.

The file size is large for each picture because I have a GeForceFX5900 Ultra running in 1600x1200 and I kept the jpeg compression to a minimum because of the usual round of skeptics who may claim they are forgeries. These three screens are cropped to just show the examine window, but Screen 4 is a full 1600x1200 shot of the NPC in the game world, with just the names of my friends blurred out to protect the innocent.

Feedback welcomed, I'm curious what you all think.

I'm also hoping you tailors get to be able to make these soon...

I actually saw an NPC (I think even the same Bothan female) wearing this skirt in the Lucky Whatsit Cantina in Mos Eisley. (The crashed starship one.) Being a tailor, I cursed bitterly to my female Twi dancer friend and pointed it out. She, of course, exclaimed "**edit** it! I want one!"

that's the exact same skirt someone was asking about earlier! i saw it a few days ago and took screenies of it too, but it was on a faction pet. making something like that would be cool

I saw a dancer wearing one about a week ago, my friend has been after me ever since to try and find her one. Think it is a drop item. Hope you tailors can make cool new clothes in the near future.

If you look at the "screenshot" of the female avatars on swg's main site the human there is even wearing one

Plus if you look closer you can count at least 4 other pieces of clothing they're wearing that tailors can't make.

Daaamn, dig that Rodian's dress and those fancy shoes on the Human.

Whatever happened to the cool clothing?

He knew he was as good as gone, but gone was somewhere he really didn't mind going to.
Since his shuttle had crashed, many years had passed, and the pictures of his loved ones that he drew on the walls of the cave
had finally faded.
He put out his smoke, proceeded towards the lake, repeating to himself,
everything beautiful is far away.

Mon Calamari: Flared Cuff Shirt, Belted Vest, Fashionably Pleated Skirt, and apparently some kind of lower-arm armor that I've never seen before. But that doesn't surprise me, I'm no armor expert.

Rodian: Belted Skirt. Flared Jacket with the sleeves cut out, which is a nice trick. It's probably a bug - maybe she's wearing some kind of armor bracers and armor sleeves that don't show up on Rodians? (roll eyes)

Wookiee: Now that's a completely new one on me. I don't know that I miss it, but it is new to me.

Bothan: Grand Healer's Robe. Which, at the moment, can only be worn by human women. This picture increases my confidence that the species restriction is a bug.

Tradoshan: Sports Wrap, Pantaloons. Two-Strap Bandolier, which never fits anyone anywhere near that well. And I think Wrapped Boots, which by definition Tradoshans can't wear.

Zabrak: Sports Wrap, Pantaloons, Wrapped Boots.

Human: Metal Bikini. That **edit** skirt that we want. And on top of that, a pair of shoes I've never seen, either.

Twi'lek: Exotic Leotard.

So, to sum up: Two violations of species restrictions on clothing, one weirdly modified clothing item, one clothing item without a long-standing bug, and three clothing items that we don't have the schematics for.

Don't forget the belt on the skirt the rodian wears is a color we can't assign to it currently

How funny. I killed a thug with this skirt on and was preparing to put a screenshot up of it. Nice to see that I wasn't crazy and it really was something that we couldn't make. I also wondered about the nice Han Solo pocketed vest that I saw someone wearing once. I wish we could get that added to our schematics.

now, i'm just starting the tailor tree, but with the addition of player cities the architects will have an elite-elite profession. Maybe those new and altered items will be done with on elite-elite for us tailors.
