Thread: What I learned in TC-Ahazi as Master Tailor
2. I chose tailor because I don't have to go and get uber resources to be a crafter. I don't play everynight and I don't want to spend my limited time searching for said resources. Tailoring allows me to log on and if I don't want to go run combat missions, I craft.
3. The thing that us tailors want more than decay rate is that when an item reaches 0/1000, it's unwearable. a decay rate would be disastorous for people who have made items to display in their shops.
4. I hate how belts look on any character so I don't have much of a comment on this one.
5. See number 2
6. Clothing dyes have been mentioned many times on the tailor forums and the tailors seems to be split 50/50. On one hand I can make X number of hot pants in generic white and a buttload of dyes. People bye the hotpants and dye them how they want. On the other hand by having me select the colors, it means that ppl have to come back to me to buy the same outfit in new colors and while they're shopping they might buy something else. For me personally, I thank each of the people who purchase clothes from me by sending them an email or a /tell. I mention that I'm available for personal orders if they are missing that last piece for their complete outfit. Keeps me in the community.
7. Again, clothing decay ties into point number 3 where we just want the clothes to be unwearable at 0/1000.
8. I would love to get into the craftable saddles market. Make some nice BE saddles like increase gallop speed or something like that. Would add a nice dimension to having mounted pets and allow everyone to match their pet with their own outfit. (Although I'm sure SOE would screw this up and make a NEW color palette that doesn't match any palette we have right now.

1. I don't personally like that idea. Have you ever seen hot pink leather jackets? The thing we want is to have the palettes match at least. (limited palette colors have no equal on the full palette)
This is your personal preference. I feel that players should have more choices. There should be some players who do want a hot pink leather jacket.

In this aspect, theres no competition between your profession, unlike others. I rather have control over the final outcome of my product than have it randomly generated. You dont have to personally seach for resources. You can purchase them from a resource dealer.

I feel if there was a decay tick, then that would help sales a bit, instead of having the clothes that I first bought since day 1. In a real shop, the display changes. If i ran a shop, I would probably want to change it every so often.

This is your personal preference, but i still see a need for this to be fixed.

Ditto.

Personal interaction is always better for sales, but not always an available option.

What I mean here is actual visible decay. For example my bright blue trim-lined shirt is now 750/1000 and the blue has faded, or it is now 100/1000 and itshas holes and stains.Obligating me to purchase more clothing, at least if I want to look good.

It all about the look!!!
