I'm tired of the colorsI currently have. Is Tailoring I worth it or should I take Casual Wear 1 or keep working for FW2 (either one)?

Is Tailoring I worth it?

I think it's worth it just for the decent red it provides. Whether I'd take it at your particular development point, though, I'm a little unsure. I might take Casual Wear I first, then Tailoring I.

What I did was max one line of clothing (Field Wear for me) and THEN started working on Tailoring Experimentation for colors. Over 90% of the requests I get for clothes are for black or white clothing so having more colors is really not that big of a deal in day-to-day sales.

Besides the higher level clothing is what sells best so the faster you get there the better. Made a ton off Dusters, Bounty Packs and Uniform Boots

I went full Field Wear first, then full Tailoring Exp next and am now working on Formal Wear and I have not regretted it at all

I know what you're saying. My guildmates want dusters/black. But they've started getting tired of waiting for me and have gone else where to get their duster fix. That leaves me to just doing the casual "I need a new outfit" thing. That's why I *think* it might be worthwhile to get more colors. For the most part, they know that all I can do is green, black, pink and tan.

Does anyone have a screenshot of the color palette with Tailoring I on it that I could see?

I'm afraid that no matter what your skill in Tailoring is, dusters will always have a bland color palette.

I think the tailoring line is crucial if you want to compete with the masters in entertainer clothing. Especially if you have formal IV or Casual IV. I really do believe that a non master can compete with a master if they have tailoring IV worked up along with one line.

I took tailoring and am very happy with the enhanced color selection! It was worth it to me because I was getting REALLY tired of making the same colored items over and over. Everything old feels new again.

Well here was my thinking..

I hit Field Ware hard to get to FWIII. For FWIV, you need more than DOUBLE what you would need for any 1st level skill.

So my thinking here was the best bang for the buck was to get the first level skills.

I can still make dusters for the 40 million requests that I get, I can make link-steel gloves to grind out the last few points for the next level, and now i'm expanding outward to get all level 1...

I took the Tailor I first and I must say that I'm happy with that choice. The faillure and experimentation rates are much better, and the extra colors are just an added bonus.
