Im posting this again because its the only thing that makes me feel better. I have not been able to craft anything other than novice items for over a week with my MASTER TAILOR MASTER ARMORSMITH!!!!!

In summary, by training master armorsmith and master tailor simultaneously I lose the ability to create anything but novice items at the crafting station.

Here is what I can make at a private crafting station with a specialized tool...

Here is what I can make away from the crafting station

Here is the tailoring items I can make at the station, observe the number of components

This is totally fubar, my crafter is now completly nerfed.

This has got to be fixed ASAP. PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS FIXED IN THE BIG PATCH

Everyone who reads the tailoringforum regularly alreadyknows aboutthis bug. There are multiple posts on it.It was one of the 5issues reported by our Tailoring Correspondant. If you really feel the need to still talk about how bad this bug is, couldn't you just bump your old post? Or one of the other posts on this topic?

Sorry if this sounds mean, but it's bad board etiquette to start multiple posts on the same topic when there are already threads about it that can be found by looking a page or two into the forum, or simply searching. Your old thread was only on page 3.

You say reposting is the only thing that makes you feel better? Why exactly does it help? We are all already aware of the problem. It's already been reported to the devs through the channels they set up. Many people have already said that they bug reported it. The devs don't seem to read this board (or if they do they never feel a desire to post) so posting again probably isn't bringing it up more to them than it already has been. I guess I just don't see the point.

there is 5000+ posts in this tailor forum, you can't expect everyone to read all posts before making a new one.

You can search and see if there is an old post, but some of us is lazy and don't search before we make every new post.

would been much better if you posted the link to the old thread about this bug instead of complaining about bad board etiquette.

There's a current post with a workaround (even though it sounds like a pain!)for this very issue on the front page of the forum. This user'slast post on the same subjectwas on page 3, which is hardly buried and impossible to find. This section isn't like the SWG discussion thread where it's easy to lose posts after a dayor even an hour. The link to the old thread wasn't really necessary, because his first thread was exactly the same as this post except for the partmentioning that he wasreposting the same thing. So I assumed that he found his own old thread and cut and pasted. And in that thread, I pointed out that there already were anumber of other posts on the subject and explained that our correspondant had already reported his problem to the devs.

Reposting an identical post and admitting that you're just doing it to make yourself feel better is rude. But I wanted to point it out in case thepoor guy didn't already know that. And it was probably rude of me to point it out. But many of us tailors read every post in this board every day. And I can't speak for them, but for me it gets really tiring day after day to see new posts started that are obviously by people who didn't bother to look around before starting a new thread.

And if board etiquette can't be explained to someone ON an actual message board, how are they supposed to learn it? I was assuming that the poster didn't know that posting the exact same thing was considered spam by most people. I didn't mean to sound witchy, and if I did I apologize. But this thread and every other new topic started on something that already has a topic (or several) bump down all the other discussions.

There is a work around for this, aside from droping armorsmithing. when you are near a crafting station is when the happens, so most of teh basic stuff you can still craft. To do the advanced stuff, you have to open the crafting kit and type /selectDraftSchematic # This will open straight to that number thing. Thing is, it is different for everyone. You have to spend a lot of time figuring out what is what. It DOES go in order that is listed when you look at your schematics in teh datapad. So if the fleshwrap is 247 for me, the leotard is 248 because it is next in line.

Now, this is only things in the armor/clothing line, so you don't count things like weapons or whatever. Just get a notepad and start figuring stuff out. It stinks but once you do the upfront work it isn't too bad.

First of all, I have tried EVERY work around that has been posted since the genesis of the boards... NOTHING WORKED

Just today I have discovered the /selectdraft thing... I have yet to try it however, IF i had not posted, that person my not have put that little bit of info down.

These forums flow so fast it would be a great error to assume that because I post something that "everyone" knows about it.

What makes me feel better is making people aware of the problem, hopefully the right people, so this is fixed, and I can once again start to play this game. (over a week)

Besides, even if I post about this problem 5 or 6 times, you really think thats a big deal considering the daily turn over is probably like 50 to 100 posts.

If you were in my position I dont think you would be content sitting idle with your hands tied.

Also, my final justification, I dont care if a couple people get mad about my multiple posts as long as for every mad person 5 or 10 people learn about the issue.

I filled out a ticket on this issue and after 5 days I received the response: "usually after 48 hours items that poof come back, but if you're still missing my credits/items/resources by then you should fill out another ticket". I'm just as confused as you are.

I am a master armorsmith, have both field wear and formal wear tree, I have enough xp for casual wear 1 and experimentation 1. Finally I decided I will get my training on casual wear 1 and experimentation 1, I rann to a trainer to get trained. Went home bam... this bug happens to me.

I knew about this bug, but all along I through that it's the master box that makes this happen. But apparently you can get this to happen before getting there. I first untrained tairloing 1 experimantaion, I still have this problem. Then I untrain Casual Wear 1, problem gone. Grind for an hour, train experimation, no problem at all.

Casual Wear 1 addes 12 schematics. I counted with Master Armorsmith, Field Wear 4 and Formal Wear 4, there are 250 schematics in the Clothing Crafting Tool..... If thenumber of schematic to be displayed by the crafting tool is stored in a single byte which is highly possible due to bandwidth saving, we have a problem here.No other crafting tool will have over 256 schamtics to display except the clothing tool. I am sure devs know what the problem is since it's so obvious, probably just not an easy fix.

Master Armorsmith + Tailor's clothing tool will display 323 schematics (I might be off on the counting...) Looking at DarthSirius's screenshots, it looks like she would have roughly about 65-70 schematics which would support the wrap around theory, if you want to test a bit and if you have the apprenticeship skill points to get Master Tailor back, untraining Master Tailor, I bet you would lose 20 schematics next to the crafting station and have only 40ish schamtics display.

Ok, MAJOR UPDATE

I found a work around for this issue.

you can access the schematics by using this command:

/selectdraftschematic xxx

where xxx is a number 1 to the max number of schematics you have.

The numbering goes in the order of the skill boxes you train, so if you train novice tailor, those would be 1 to like 15, then you went to formal 1, those would be 16 to 25, then you get the point.

thx for the input

I'm actually regaining more schematics as I move up the armorsmith tree which grants me more schematics. When I first trained Novice armorsmith I lost everything but Simple Shirts. After Training Chitin I I have access to like 10 of the clothing schematics.

Nice call. Its good to see other computer minded people out in the gaming world. Perhaps they need to split the armor/clothing tool into an armor tool and a clothing tool. That would be the easiest fix IMO. Keep the same art, change the name and split the number of schematics. I hate bit shifting wrap arounds it is sometimes very difficult to figure out what is going wrong with them.
