Greetings my once-fellow tailors!

After an unfortunate falsification by the Empire leading to a subsequent raid and closing of my Tailoring shop a month ago, I have persued other grand adventures and left the great craftsmanship tasks in your hands.

I am in a position to start selling hides- but I need the assistance of the tailors again... I seem to have quickly forgotten my craft!

Which hides are needed the most, in particular, specific hides? I recall a few items needing either Tatooine Leathery or some such, but to be honest, I have no list currently of what is in demand. (I do know what aspects of the quality need to be high though!)

Could someone give me a kind mini-list of those specific hide types that are the most sought after, so I can help get some on the market?

Any hides will do for most items.

Some items require Wooly hides.

90% of tailored items that require hides take any type of hide ... any

8% of items that require hides require the hide to be Wooly (any wooly hide will work)

1% of items that require hides require the hide to be Bristly (any bristly hide will work)

<1% of the items that requirehides require the hide to be Tatooine Wooly Hide

<1% of the tiems that require hides require the hide to be Naboo Wooly Hide

Isn't that Nabboian Scaley, not Wooly?

I just made some Thermal Boots last night, so I think that's right.

Althought I am not on Starsider, I recommend going to Naboo and see what kind of scaley hide drops. Pretty muhc, just kill the first capper spineflap, flewt or vine rawl you see. If the hide is Eala Nabooian scaley hide, stay on Naboo and harvest this type of hide until your head explodes. It's the best hide I have seen in the game.

2 Items use Bone: Wookiee Shoulder Pads (40), Twi'lek Bone Crest (20)
11 Items use "Wooly Hide": Range from 5-50 per
1 Item uses "Tattoonian Wooly Hide": High Quality Boots (20)
1 Item uses "Nabooian Scaley Hide": Thermal Boots (20)
3 Items use "Bristley Hide": Pilots Jacket (70), Reinforced Pullover (70), Sleeveless Jacket (70)
85 Items use Any Hide

Perfect! Exactly what I needed to see (I updated the Naboo Wooly to Naboo Scaley hehe)...

Many thanks, it was the specific hides in particular I was needing to know, but it's nice to have the percentile breakdown there, seeing as I only managed to get to 3/4/0/1 tailoring myself!
