Thread: In-game delivery system...
This may be one of the strangest ideas in the world to some of you... but maybe some of you have had similar thoughts![]()
What if...
We had some sort of in-game delivery system... sort of like UPS, FedEx, Postal Service, etc.
You go to a "Delivery Terminal" and get a type of window you would at the bazaar. You click "ship item" select the item, and the name of the character it's going to, a long with the city and planet. It would cost a certain amount to ship the item...
The item would take a certain amount of time to be delivered....
Both the sender and recipient get an email saying "your item has been delivered"
and the recipient can pick it up at the nearest "Delivery Terminal" in the specified city and planet.
I know it's pretty far-fetched and would probably never be implemented or though about... but that's the fun of all our little requests.... what if? ![]()
Originally players were going to be able to create there own missions, delievery missions being one of the types. So you could go to the mission terminal (or type in your datapad) and create a mission for someone to take an object from one place and deliever it to another. You set how much you were will to pay for it and other players could come along and deliever your objects. This got cut when they had to lock down the features for release.
I'm still hoping they go back and add this in at some point.
