Do they have to come from a factory? Or if I made them out of the same materials, would they work?

I ask because I might be placing my PA's PA hall, and I'm not sure that I'll have enough lots for a factory, harvesters etc...

when you see "identical" that means they must be pulled from the same factory crate.

Don't have to be from the same crate but from the same factory run.

If you make 4 crates at once in a factory they all get the same serial number.

So you can take any 2 from those 4 crates to get identical items.(atleast I think it's this way)

Maybe you should talk to your PA and see if someone else that dont need the lots can put up the PA Hall. Crafters in general tends to need all the lots for crafting stuff.

You could also ask a non crafter friend if they would mind you using a few of their lots. That's what I have done.

I have a large naboo house and that takes 6 lots .. I have had a few friends put down mines for me and make me admin, that way I can take care of them without my friend having to worry about it. The only time they are needed is if the mines need to be moved. As long as you pay everything it's not too much hassle on the part of your friend, they don't need the lots anyway.

Really, PA's should make certain that the person intending to place the hall is NOT someone hoping to become a crafter.

Yes, if you are pursuing tailoring to high levels, a factory is absolutely vital. If a schematic requests factory-identical components, then making those components by hand and placing them in the schematic will NOT work, as they have to have the same identical reference number and each item crafted by hand will have a unique number.

Of course, you can get someone else to place harvesters, factory, power source, house for you ... but if they're willing to do all that, it'd be far, far easier for them to just place the PA Hall, and be done with it. *grins* This will become a big problem in the future, as resources shift and harvesters keep neding to get replaced ... much easier by far to have the slots for those yourself.

True but if your friend goes *poof* and is holding your factory and a chemical mine you're out FAR less than if they disappear with your PA hall!

and what if YOU go *poof*?

basically ... I was just saying that in a guild of decent size, there should be someone that's not likely to be using their lots for machines or shops, and that they're the best people to be planting the Hall ... which after all, is for the entire PA ....
