Thread: Graceful Clothiers catalog...

I love the Graceful Clotheirs catalog.. But one thing I really wish would be fixed would be the stuff labeled for women only. For example, the flex-form shirt... Others which are generally for women but don't have to be are women only, like the bikini leggings.

What I'd love to see is an accurate reflection of what is and is not women only. I'll probably use the archive to make my own local copy on my own server, with the proper tagging.

There are also quite a few items that are for women only which are not properly labelled.

Those I know to be wrong:
Bikini Leggings
Flex-form Shirt

Anyone else care to list any?

So many items that should be marked women-only, and aren't ... not going to list them all (I started but it would take ages). Most of them are obvious - bustiers, dresses etc - but there's a few that aren't, such as Sports Wraps (women-only), and a few that you'd think -would- be women-only, and aren't (like the Bikini Leggings).

And ... I haven't had time to try this on a willing victim yet - but is the Figter's Flightsuit -really- women-only? I'd bet not ...

Still ... it's a very fine site, and the one I use most often to encourage my customers to let me know what they want (until our own site is up and running).

Maybe I'll go bug my tailor friends and try on everything in her showroom. I'm sure she'd enjoy rearranging everything again *grin*

Yes the sports wrap, I forgot about that one. Though, if you see someone wear it, it does look a bit like it's intended for women. Still I wish there was something equivilent for guys.

I've been making Malaki try on all the skirts (though he's needed little persuading) just to try to see which can, an cannot be worn by men ...

If anyone is able to compile this information, PLEASE let me know and I'll update the database. I hadn't caught a few of those yet, so I'll scurry off and fix those mentioned here in specific, but as I've said before, I know it's not all the mistakes that are in there. I simply have not had time to verify all of those, including some location data. What we have represents my best guesses and mistakes at the moment.

(I'd really appreciate any help we can get on updating that info. I actually got to leave my shop last night for the first time in a week or so, and really enjoyed it. :-) That, combined with my RL commitments (I'm a RL pastor, so some weeks are quieter than others. This is not one of those weeks, however.), though, means that I don't have as much time to compile this info as I'd like. (The palletes took the better part of 2 weeks, and even then there were errors in the data input process.) Any and all help is much appreciated!)

Ok, I've snuck away for a bit and gone through and sanity checked some of the things mentioned here. The Fighter Flightsuit is denfinitely not women only. :-) I've also marked the dresses/bikinis/sports wraps appropriately, but I've held off on the skirts, headdresses, etc, because it's just so hard to guess what the devs might be thinking.

I've updated tailor.sql to reflect these changes, but I'm sure errors remain. Be warned that re-importing tailor.sql will replace ALL changes you've made to your copy, including pricing and descriptions. :-(

Also, I've created a quick PHP script to list what items are presently marked as women only. You can find it at http://www.aubereanjourney.com/catalog/femaleonly.php

Oh wonderful! I don't see anything glaring at me as wrong in that list. I'll go and let you know.

And Severine.. If you need a willing vict.. er.. volunteer, you know I'm always looking for a new look, and might get inspired if I find out something new I can wear. *grin*
