Thread: Where did the sockets go after patch 6?

I have crafted a bunch of clothing items without any sockets. Pre-patch there were always sockets from 1-4.
Were they nerfed?

I got sockets in everything today .. do you have artisan because having that skills helps with sockets.

I am Master Artisan and human with crafting bonus apparently.
Oh and using a +14 tool and +43% crafting station.
Hrmm it might just be the ribbed shirts.
Can someone pls confirm that ribbed shirts don't produce sockets anymore?

Items from the tailoring tree are socketed based on the tailoring skill. You need Tailoring 4 or Master to get 4 sockets in an item. Anything from the Artisan tree will be socketed based on the engineering skill. Since ribbed shirts are part of the tailoring tree, their sockets are based on the tailoring skill.
