Finally the devs do something brilliant (even if it was an accident), bounty hunters should definatly wear hawt pants if only to confuse their prey

Greetings to one and all, what I am about to disclose actually happened - well, from a certain point of view. If this should not belong in the tailoring forums, I do apologize, it was the only place I felt it should go, and believe me, I feel this needs to be brought out to everyone's attention! (Note, I tend to ramble, but this really does have to do with hawt pants...)

And so, the story begins as such, after another exhausting day at work, I settledon to the computer to relax, read the forums and eventually log on to the mad-house that is known as Test Center 2. There within that server's boundaries, I have a few Jedi to play with, not gained mind you, through toiling through professions, but by being flagged during the two week period on Test Center.

All things aside, it has been an amusing time to say the least, getting my bounty hunter up to master instantly, sludging through Lok and Dathomir to gain Wheat and Meat (basically in that order) to get buffs (this was long before the insto-buffs now given), andsimply having an enjoyable timetesting out something that I didn't realize could be so much fun!

And yet, there was something different this evening than last, something that filled my bounty hunter's pack to over flowing, low and behold the DEVs have given bounty hunters a starter pack of their own! Yes, as Istared at the screen, there was the complete RIS armor, the LLCs, the laser carbines and scatter pistols, along with enough droids to track down every Jedi in the game! Okay, well, maybe a few at least.

Thusly armed with this new weaponary, I thought to myself - huzzah! Now is the time, now is the chance! I will hunt down and slaughter these Jedi - one by one. Gaining a known Jedi's name on the terminals I headed off to Kaadara, there I would meet up with my operative, and I would track down the evil Jedi that had slaughtered an entire innocent family! As the loading screen popped in, and the familiar shuttle port came finally into view, I plopped open my inventory in order to equip the one weapon that would put fear into the hearts of well, at least Meat Lumps everywhere....

Low and behind - in my inventory a new item had appeared, a new precious piece of equipment that had loaded in when hitting Naboo.../Hawt Pants/(In purple no less) Did I loot them...? No! No really, I didn't kill anything on the way! No they were a gift from the DEVS! Yes! I had no need to wear that hideously ugly brown RIS, I was given a tool far more powerful, an article of clothing far more unique - I was given purple hawt pants!

In all honesty, I have no idea where these came from, literally while loading intoNaboo from Tatooine I had not only the pair of hot pants

But another complete set of RIS armor, LLCs, etc, etc, etc. I really have never laughed so hard in my life, I mean, they were even in purple! The color I adore! After reporting the /bug (about the second kit of goodies), I deleted every duplicate, but couldn't bring myself to delete the hawt pants, regardless of where they came from, I have come to the conclusion that certainly this is a sign thatall bounty hunters should go around wearing them. Right..? Maybe..?

Greetings!

Just in case someone missed it - this link here:

Is confirmation the hawt pants /are/ given by the DEVs as part of the starter kitsfor every Bounty Hunter that is created on Test Center 2. (Evidently this was posted today at around 7:00 in the morning by JustG.)

I just have to say, GO DEVs, this is - by far -the single most inspirational thing I have ever heard. Truly! And here, to think I never thought anyone that was involved in the creation of SWG had a sense of humor ...

Well, so much for using the emotes. (Edit button! One of these days I shall have enough posts for one!)
