I have a Smuggler/TKA and hate wearing armor. I love clothes but cant do so while hunting...unless there are some combos with Bio-clothes that may reduce the damage taken or something along those lines. Sorry to be an idiot regarding this issue but I hate looking like everyone else. It so doesnt feel Star Warsy when everyone is wearing composite armor.

High level TKA's have enough combat defenses where many of them feel that armor is not necessary, particularly when buffed. But if you lack these skills, that may not be a good option for you. You can stack bio clothing at get perhaps as much as +16 additional melee defense, but I realize most TKA's feel that is pretty insignificant, and plus doing that reduces your fashion choices by a huge amount.

Here is another option. Enjoy your style and show your brazen smuggler self in your defiance of armor and take a friend or two to back you up. And if you don't have any available......then...hunt something WEAKER. That is what I do.

Melee defense can be done... as for dodge, go kill some nightsisters and hope for a good lootdrop.
