I posted this in the GCW forum, but parts of it involve tailors:

While it's been a while since I was a tailor, I was disappointed at the very limited range of colors available for this piece of clothing. This outfit is really only good "uniform" in the game so it would be nice to be able to have different colors. Having a different belt color would also be nice. How about black? Navy blue? Red?

Thunderheart has stated that the problem with the Imperial Hat is the person's hairline is supposed to be exposed when wearing it. I implore you to ask for a new Imperial Hat that is craftable for tailors (hence doesn't require being overt to wear it...excellent for RPing) that HIDES the hairline just like a Sunguard or Chef's Hat with that black hat guard. NPCs would wear the old ones, and players can be content with the new style hats. It's not PERFECT, but then again, what is in this game? It's astep in the right direction.

I've actually been having some detailed conversations with Jest3r in connection with the GCW revamp, and getting us some uniforms, etc.
