Has anyone used Exceptional Heavy Lethers or Clasps to craft an item? If so are the stats any different for the final product, I doubt it, but want to ask before I just throw these on my vendor to sell.

Nope, no difference between standard, exceptional, and legendary in the final product.

so nice to know...that's what i thought when someone tried to sell me some exceptional clasps the other day for ...70K....for three clasps. It was all I could do to not to laugh. I calmly told the guy that to my knowledge the exceptional were no better than the regulars since Tailors can't experiment. He said OH after that so I suggested he try the trade forums if he wanted to sell them.
