Started this test a while ago, so posting half my results so far, will post other half soon.
Outfit - NONE
1000 items crafted.
0 Sockets - 66
1 Sockets - 153
2 Sockets - 280
3 Sockets - 328
4 Sockets - 236
0 % = 6.6
1 % = 15.3
2 % = 28
3 % = 32.8
4 % = 23.6
Will post results for 1000 items crafted WITH my crafting outfit shortly (not quite finished them yet)

Thanks! That looks a lot like my results without a crafting outfit. Its nice to see them consistant. By the way, what were you making?

It wasnt one single item.
(id go mad crafting 1000 of same item)
I just went on with day-to-day activies, restocking regular items etc and noted down each socket result. I wanted it to be 1000 To make a fair comparisan between with and without crafting outfit.Leaving less to luck creeping in.
One may argue that some items get 4 sockets more than others and that making many different items will skew the results. They'd be right, that is why i did the same for both with and without crafting outfit, and did 1000 results for each, The difference between items should not be noticable on this scale i figure.
Nearly finished the with-crafting-outfit, will post them soon

Thats probably even better because it averages out complexity.

The testing actually looks quite consistant with what others have posted...
The 2 socketed amount and the 4 socketed amount has to be switched... so we get more 4 socketed items and less 2 socketed items.
