heh, I can do this for you, tho I havn't been playing much because of the GODDA|\/|ED FU[KING NIGHTLY CRASH AND ROLLBACK!!!!1!!111, but I do still log on every once in a while.
if you catch me online give me a tell.
I know it only takes us a small amount of time, but I charge 40-50k per schematic (whether or not the customer supplies their own materials, they almost always do in fact because they want the schem made from the resources they have stockpiled). My 40k price is for average customers, I reserve the 50k price for those that start a conversation with "hey, give me a schematic." I charge what you may consider a very high price because of the fact that anyone buying them (usually an armorsmith) will be making a gigantic profit margin on either selling the cloth or things made with the cloth.
On my server, the number of crates of completed synth that you can make from 6 schematics would sell for 6,000,000, so 30k is a really cheap price.
Good luck to you, but I just wanted to tell my fellow tailors who may not have realized it yet that they can sell schematics at a relatively high price, because their value is far more than just the time and materials going into them. I don't sell a large number of schems at my price, because the buyers know that they can always find a novice tailor and convince them to do it cheaply, but I have a few customers that regularly pay that much because getting a 1000-count schematic of their own is such a huge convenience to them. One of those customers even tipped me 15k extra for getting it done for him so quickly.
Maybe charging that high just means I'm greedy. But selling schematics is a valuable service that saves the buyer quite a lot of money (even at my high price) and much more importantly, it saves them time.
Didnt know that I could demand such a high price for a schematic... Sold one yesterday for 10k..
No more poor tailor for me...
Yay! An armorsmith (I assume) that actually pays for schematics! wohoo!
If you dare venture out to my shop in the middle of Dant I can help you out. Bring lots of meds and your mask scent ability. The good part is, if you actually make it to my shop alive, you get a free lemonade ![]()
