Thread: Tailor Skill tree which 1st?
Hi,
My name is Spooky and have just reached Novice Tailor on the Shadowfire Galaxy. I was wondering what skill tree should I go up 1st? I would like to have a wider palatte of colours, so should I go up the 4th tree 1st?
Other than getting harvesters, what is the best way to get the resources needed (use bazaar or join a guild (or just asking to buy from people met))? I don't really want to have a harvester, so any help/advice would be appreciated.
Is it also worth purchasing a house and setting up a vendor? I like to travel on my Planet (Naboo) so am reluctant to do this. (like the idea of travelling tailor) Being a Master Scout I Have met a lot of people on my travels and feel the personal touch would be better for me.
Thanks for all your help in advance, I will be monitoring this thread as often as I can. Spooky
it really depends on what you want to make. if you want to grind and have items with the best xp, i would suggestfieldwear first. otherwise, you can take a look at each tree as to which items you get, and you can decide from there. fieldwear items are fairly popular, so it might not be a bad idea to start there anyway.
getting your own harvs would be cheapest, but once in a while i give in and buy resources on the bazaar. since quality doesn't matter, i usually just look for the cheapest resources. however, there are several resources you might want to stock up in advance, in case it doesn't spawn in a while. you would want to keep stacks of titanium aluminum, thoranium steel, plexite armophous gemstone, and green diamond crystalline gemstone.
i've always had a shop and several vendors (until recently), and it helps with business. usually people don't mind travelling to their favorite tailor ![]()
FEILD WEAR,
actually that's all I got!!! saved the rest for combat skills, but the 75k a day from the bazaar (dusters, camo pants, inf suits) is kinda nice, with out a lot of hassle ![]()
I wrote an article for SWGTailor.com that talks about the pros and cons of each tree. http://zero.hastypastry.net/~shirow/swgtailor/public_html/staticpages/index.php?page=20031109235427154
It won't tell you what tree to go up in, but it gives you an idea of what may work best for you depending upon your goals.
