Hello all, I have a question for you.

Like many of us SWG players, I've been running around shopping from vendor to vendor. Looking for things I need and things I don't. Recently, I came across a Bio Engineer shop. Inside this shop I noticed there were wookiee outfits on the walls....no big deal...Until I noticed there was a set of boots at the bottom labeled "WOOKIEE BOOTS". I have been searching the galaxy ever sense, but I've never found them. It is possible that someone just took some regular boots and set the name to wookiee boots and sent me on a wild goose chase. That is why I now bring this Question to you...THe Tailors of SWG

Unless that was part of the "Life Day" celebration...someone renamed a pair of boots...there are no 'wookiee boots' currently craftable by tailors of any skill level. =/

I've never seen "Wookiee Boots" nor are they a craftable item I ever heard of (unless someone snuck in a quest schematic as loot and didn't mention it to us), but I have seen a Wookiee wearing boots!

I marveled at his boots. He told me he looted them off a Corsec officer. He siad they were named "Corsec Boots." They were in his inventory. He died and cloned with the boots equipped. He said they equip every time he clones if they are in his inventory. Is that wild or what?

Well, I've never seen any other Wookiee wearing boots before or since. Are Corsec boots an extinct loot item maybe? I'd imagine many folks deleted them as junk loot long since too. I mean, how many Wookiees would have kept them in their inventory long enough to even find out they auto-equipped at cloning?

Has no one else seen nor heard of this Wookiee... umm... bug? Granted, the boots leave a graphical glitch of empty space between the tops of the boots and the Wookiee's knees, but still... I betcha if they knew about the boots you'd see them paying dearly to have some. Heh. Poor fashion-starved Darlin's.

/holler Hey Devs! Give the Wooks some nice primitive-looking lace-up mocassin style boots or somethin'! Shod the Wookiees!

I have seen the "equip weird stuff upon cloning" thing before. For a long time, when I cloned, I'd always wind up wearing a hat that I wasn't wearing before (and stored in my *backpack*, no less, not even regular inventory!)

I suspect the "wookiee boots" are a symptom of that, and that the "Equip on clothing" routine didn't have a race/gender check or somesuch.

I suspect it won't happen anymore, though. Since the last patch, I've cloned "hatless" every time.

They are actually called "corsec boots" and are looted from corsec soldiers (hence the name). They are simply uniform boots with a bonus to carbine speed (my pair is one of my more prized possessions). Wookiees are not going to be able to wear them.

I've seen this before too, with the auto-equip on clone issue, wookies get the boots stuck on their feet, but they can't equip them normally.

I want to see some wookiee boots! I think they should be just bits of leather that look somewhat "tied on" and call them "Wookiee Foot Wraps" heheh. Then I want a pair of Wookiee Sandals. Then I want a pony.

i want a pony too. with a sparkly bridle. and wings.
