I'd rank you guys first in the "don't care about how crappy our materials are, the end product is great" - with Architect in a close second. My alt character is an archie, and when it comes to material quality, all I care about is what goes into mining equipment =)

Agreed...no need to scour the galaxy for the perfect materials to make our wares. Just plop a harvester down anywhere, collect whatever is there and craft away

I love being a tailor. I get to make people happy about playing their character. I get to interact and chat with people. This is why I like the game. I am a socializer, and for me, it's about the friendships I've made

I think the Tailor profession is the profession that keeps the game fun (at least for me) i buy a new suit every week or so (gotta look sharp!) and i REALLY like it when the tailor is in the house when i walk in so i can get a custom order Thank you tailors, you guys/gals rock!

Sometimes I think about dropping it in favour of picking up some more combat skills, or maybe BE with some combat, or maybe Commando...

And then I remember how much fun I have chatting with customers, matching colours, designing new looks...and wonder what the heck I was thinking. *grins* Tailoring is great!

I must say, this profession has really surprised me. My second holo is/was tailor. My first reaction was ugh.. where can i find a macro to master this as quickly as possible so I could drop it.I went up the experimentation tree first, and then started talking with the guild members about doing uniforms. The more of this profession I get through the more I like it. Matter of fact, I am actually gonna stick with this prof for a little while. I have all the bio--enhancements I need and I just sit at the starport in coronet filling people's orders now.

I LOVE being a tailor. Grinding was a pain, and the only reason I did the grinding thing was so I could offer more quicker.

Currently, I have two shops, one of which has a bridal display up. I like changing my displays, and playing around with different looks.

Though, currently, I"m on vacation, doing a little hunting. But I'll never give up tailor. I like it too much.
