Thread: Synthetic Cloth question from wanna be tailor

I bought a wearables factory in order to make crates of synthetic cloth. I put cash, power & ingredients into it, but I still can't figure out how to get the - - - - thing to work. It doesn't have a schematic option, so what am I missing? I would appreciate any help that's offered.

There won't be a schematic option unless you have a schematic ready in your datapad. Go to a crafting station (needed for schematics) and make a synthetic cloth piece. When you hit the assemble button you get an image of the cloth, then the next window asks if you want to make the prototype, or a factory schematic. Make the factory schematic, and your datapad now has one ready to go. 
Go back to your factory, and you will now have the option
