Thread: How do you get slots on clothing?

I can't see anything as far as skills go. Is there some way to experiment to gain slots? Does it come from going higher in Tailoring I-IV? I tried searching for the answer to this but could not find a clear cut answer. Can some of you professional tailors please help?

Slots are random. For artisan clothing you get more chance for slots by going up the engineering tree. For tailor clothing it is the tailoring tree. As a master tailor/master artisan I usually get 4 slots for tailor clothes, but average 2 or 3 slots for artisan clothes. I am not sure of why it is different.
