Thread: Exquisite leotard new schematic on test...but...
Lootable schematics I think is a cool idea if properly implemented, and a curse if not properly implemented. For example, do we even know that these schematics are tailor-only? Or are artisan skills sufficient?
I know one lootable schematic is for a mollusk harvesting tool. This is mainly of use to bio engineers. Reportedly you simply run a couple of missions from an NPC on Tat to get it.
This is just diappointing.

Hmmmm.....lootable schematics.
Lets see, Im a master tailor/master dancer. I can picture the scenario. Im going to go to the rancor cave, confront a mutant rancor, poke it in the eye with my sewing needle, do a fan kick and kick it in the head and this rancor is just going to drop like a rock and give me a clothing schematic.
It could happen
You and me both…'cept I'll be usinga curling iron instead of the kicks.

Thats exactly how I feel. I know that the latest thing that the devs (especially Thunderheart) like to point out is that classes are mix and match and you don't have to just be one thing. I can choose tailor and something else. I just wish that the something else did not have to be some sort of elite fighting class to have access to any of the new content in this game. Crafters and entertainers should not always be second-class citizens.
I agree with you and the looted items. My fear is two fold though. Should I somehow get lucky enough to find a group that will let me tag along on such adventures and loot a schematic likt that, is very rare. Second if I can't find that sort of group, then what price are these schematics going to be selling for? I forsee them being worth a pretty penny.
As a tailor I don't make money hand over fist because I choose to be a one on one tailor. I pick and choose my clients, but give them insane service. I fear loosing what client base I do have if i can't provide all options.
Don't get me wrong, I would like our profession to have more unique qualities, but the items shoudl be attanable by a pure crafter....
