A couple of days ago I did two factory runs of 1000 items; one for Synthetic Cloth, one for Reinforced Fiberplast Panels. When I got the email that they were done I went to check but there were only about 21 crates in each rather than 40. All the resources had been used up though.

Today I did a factory run for 100 clothing repair tools. I got the email to say it was done and went to check again. This time there was absolutely nothing in the output hopper and all the resources had been used.

If I am not going completely mad, and this is indeed another bug, then it is really going to screw me as I will never know how much resource I will waste in an attempt to get some crates.

Please someone tell me I was dreaming this.... I've had enough of tailor factory, crafting, bio issues :-(

Keep in mind that some components now come in crates of 50 instead of 25...which would give you 20 crates for a run of 1000, instead of the usual 40.

Not sure if this is the case here or not with the cloths and panels...Haven't tried any factory runs of those yet. I do know metal fasteners stack at 50 per crate now though...

Thanks for confirming my fears. I did a bug report on it yesterday so I guess we sit and wait for a few [days/weeks/months/years] (delete as appropriate).

I guess that if the important crafting professions moan about it it will probably get fixed quicker though.

Must go and take another cynicism pill...

Not had it yet but I will be starting a few batches of synth and trim tomorrow so I'll see what happens.

Maybe a stupid question but does anyone else have admin to your factories? Is it possible a friend took some of them and hasn't told you yet?

I've seen something similar in the past and the best thing to do is redeed your factory. If that doesn't fix your problem, then it's a different and icky bug.

metal fastners, and fiberplast panels have come in crates of 50 since as long I have been a tailor..which is a loooong time

Would love for them to make the rest 50 too

i have not had that problem but tonight i had a special order that involved 5 sep crates of clothng and every single crate came out the wrong color. not even the default colors....

Had a slightly similar wierd thing like this when I made a run of trim.

I got the mail to say the run was complete so I opened up a pack and started pulling the crates from the hopper and ran out when I got to 21 I think... I thought "hey, thats a bit wierd shouldn't there be 40 crates?" So I scrolled about (was a load of synth cloth in there form the last run aswell see) closed the window then opened up the output hopper again and miraculously there the rest were...winking at me with smiles on there little boxes taunting me with the words "fooled you"...

I was not impressed, but relieved none-the-less as I was already late for dropping the run off and didn't want to have to wait another day or so to do another run.
