Hey all i noticed that my sockets vary between crafts. Anyone know why? Since the clothes dont require specific qualities in the resources like other profs, i was wondering if there was maybe something i was missing. Im master tailor too if that has anything to do with it.

The number of sockets that you get on an item (or whether or not you get any at all) is totally random. You get them more often at master though

I seem to find that when I have an inspiration buff, I generally get higher numbers of sockets, but that might be just me. I haven't actually tested it properly, that's just a random observation that may or may not be true

I'm not sure if anyone has done serious testing on that or not.

Thanks for the reply, kind of sucks that the socket thing is random. People seem to like moresockets for CA's. oh well.

This is when the ability to make factory schematicsis useful I try to keep a crate of 4 socketed black cloaks, gloves, boots, shirts, and beltshandy for when I am asked for them.
