What outfit could be made with the MOST sockets?

everyone forgets the belt, and bandolier...

Upper {shirts}, Lower {skirt,pants,shorts}, Cover {jacket,cloak,vest}
Headwear, Footwear, Handwear, Belt, Bandolier

8 items for basic races

Ithorian, Wookiees, Trandos, and even Mon Cals..may/will find there options more limiting.

As above plus belt and bandolier (although the bandolier cannot be worn with a backpack).

You can wear a vest or cloak instead of the jacket if you prefer.

36 socket clothing is possible if you 4 socket all sets and throw fashion out the wondow.
