Thread: Can you really craft everything in the game?
Tailors,
This goes to all of you as a question and as an observation. It's been said numerous times by the devs there wouldn't be things in the game that couldn't be crafted by players so as to keep the economy active and thriving. Well... there is one thing I've found that can't be crafted (to my knowledge) by a Master Artisan or Tailor... the beginning Scout vest for freshly created characters. I am hoping that someone can correct me here and that it really is craftable but from what I've seen it is not.
It has 4 pockets on the front and looks very much like a military/police/photo journalists style of sleeveless vest and I would like one with sockets and not in the bland 'greyish' color that all beginning clothes come in.
Is it supposed to be in the game outside of character creation like the shoes, longsleeve shirt and paramilitary camos? If it is and it's not in... why isn't it?
I would greatly appreciate any information that you all, the tailoring community, could provide.
I think it's in... I want to say "short vest" but that may not be right.
There are plenty of things we can't craft, however.... Hooded Jedi Robes, the AT-ST and rebel helmets, etc., etc.
The item that male Scouts start with is named, quite simply, Vest. We don't have this schematic. It may be just an oversight, or maybe it's a conspiracy on the part of the Devs to give Scouts an inherent advantage over Tailors in the game overall. Personally, I'm going to put on my tinfoil hat and go with the latter, because it's more fun.
