This is very disappointing. I have a wookiee vendor and a handful of regular wookiee customers who come to my shop. I am not a master tailor.

Vandessa and Jvani (on test center) had of course no way of knowing that this was a master tailor only fix since they are master tailors, how could they know...

After the patch went live I had a customer request two sigilied waist wraps in non-green (if you can call what color we can make it in green) colors, to find that I still had the same two color choices...as we all now know. I had to send him to a master tailor

Now I do realize that there are other instances where a color on an itemcannot be chosen...such as the administrator robe and soft undershirt. You need novice tailor to do so... But there is a huge difference in the attainability of novice tailor and master tailor. I have for the most part avoided power grinding (though I'll do it while traveling somewhere) and despite tailoring almost daily since day 1, am at 4-2-1-2.

Anyway my fellow non-master tailors and I are seriously bummed. The biggest changes for tailors in the last two patches have both been for master tailors only. 255 colors, and now the dyeability of huge swatches of popular tailor items.

So is this intended? I certainly hope not

I totally agree. I mean I'm all for master tailors having big advantages, they deserve it and nobody wants to be in a profession where getting to master doesn't mean squat (like artisan or merchant), but in tailor they have some great, in demand items, more colors, and the ability to get an extra color palette to add extra trim colors and all that is fine. But come on, the "main" color of the sigiled wrap can only be green if you're not a master? that's just silly. My suggestion is to just simply make it a master-level-only item then. It will cause less consternation both amongst the novice tailors and the wookiee customers. Master tailors needs some wookiee items anyhow.
