Thread: Stacking BE Enhancements? (Sorry if this has been addressed)
Ok, quick run down of using Bio-Engineered tissues. (Side note: Annabelle, please please please sticking one of the numerous BE posts to the top of the forum. It would be so much easier to just point people to one of 10 or so posts than it is to tell them to look through 100's.)
The maximum number that can be found on any one item for any one enhancement is 25. That means, if you have two tissues that equal 13 each placed into different slots the total shown on the clothes will not be +26, but +25.
There can be up to 6 enhancements on each item. Not 6 different tissue types, but 6 enhancements. The medic tissue has 2 enhancements on it, as does the scout and CH tissues. Let's say (for argument's sake) that you had available slots for 2 synthetic cloths and 2 reinforced cloths, you put medic in one, CH in another, Scout in the third and Bleeding defense in yet the fourth. That means you tried to put 7 different skill enhancements on one item, but with the 6 limit, you will lose one. It isn't there and just not showing up on the UI, it is actually lost. So to answer your question specifically, yes, you can put +25 medic and +25 entertainer enhancements on the same item if you have enough slots for the synthetic cloths to total those numbers.
Stacking issues. This seems to bring about the most questions, so I will try to answer it as completely and simply as I Can. Stats will only stack if they are placed into separate slots. If an item calls for 6 identical reinforced cloths in one slot the stats on those cloths will not stack. If an item calls for 2 identical synthetic cloths in one slot and 3 identical cloths in another slot, the stats will stack as if they were prototype cloths in to separate slots.
Limitations with enhanced clothing is debated on end, but this comes from the mouths of devs. A person can only add 25 points to any oneskill from enhanced clothing. If they are wearing items that total +100, they will still only gain 25 points. And no matter what, your skills can only be raised to 100. Anything over 100 may still show up on the UI (I'm not sure if they fixed this or not... Hey, I'm a tailor, I don't look at my skills), but won't actually have any effect on the character. So, to recap, +25 is the max that can be added to any one skill and it will never bring a players total skill above 100.
As for pricing... It's debated to no end and there's no real answer to that questions. Just price what you think is fair and do some research, look at what other tailors price their clothes at and decide how you feel about your prices compared to theirs.
Hope this helps some!
Hi, I'm a new Master Tailor and I was under the impression that the same enhancement say IW enhancements on wookie clothings
Sage hood I think has 4 syn clothes non crate I believe. So recently I heard that you can stack the same IW but it caps out at 25. And then, so I have some +17 IW SC in crates, if i use 2 of the crate enhanced SC in one piece of clothing will they work but only stack up to 25 which would be a shame.
So then, I have a question, is 25 for all the enhancements or just for IW? meaning Can i have say on the sage hood, +25 IW with two of the syn clothes and then Wound Healing(dance and music) +25?
I also heard that you can only have 65 total when wearing BE clothing? Does that mean all the stats combined whether it's IW/Bleed Resists/etc? or just for one stat?
Sorry if all these questions have been addressed.
Also a quick question for regular clothes, I've been using the tailoring calculator as a guide, does everyone use the generic prices that is given to generate prices? Cuz I don't really know if I'm too low or too high.
Also I sold a +17 bleed resist for 17k, does that sound right? I read the post about 1000credits per stat? I wasn't completely sure tho about the second mod and how you priced that or what not. If someone could explain this further I'd really appreciate it.
