I need an idea of what synthetic cloth sells for. I ended up with some crates of itafter a friend quit playing the game, and iwant to sell it to get it out of my bank vault. I have a guild mate who is interested in buying it, but I have no idea what it's worth or what I should ask for it.Any help would be appreciated.

I see people sellingthem on the bazaar for anywhere from 2600-3000 on my server. It costs 1500 at 3cpu to make a crate, and this isn't counting maitenence, power on your factory, or the time it took to process the materials.....i think that those are fair prices.

I sell it for 3500 a crate on Gorath, but that's not intended to actually sell them, I just use my vendor for storage Usually I sell 4-8 crates a week to armorsmiths that just need a quick batch to fill an order when they get caught without.

I rarely even try to sell synth because it's often more trouble than it's worth. Some of my most whiny and annoying customers have been armorsmiths wanting synth. They keep trying to tell me I need to charge them less because they need it for grinding. As if my cost and time for making it are less because it's only special "grinding" synth. And I've had more than one actually grumble at me that they should just spend the skillpoints and learn to make it themselves.

All this whining and unpleasantness over my old price of 2500/crate. Which was hardly unreasonably expensive. So I just decided it wasn't worth the hassle,raised my regular price for it to 3200, and still sell in-person at my old price to my regulars who are actually polite and pleasant to deal with.

As a super special favor to a friend of a friend, I sold her adecent quanity at 2000/crate. I told her my usual price for it and also mentioned that this was a one-time deal that she was only getting because she was a friend of a guildmate (who had done me a few big favors recently).

She actually tried talking me down. From 2000/crate. And had the nerve to complain to my guildmate about me. I was so mad. Of course my guildmate told her that that was a super reasonable price, and how at that rate I wouldn't really be making much profit on the deal.She actually claimed that her regular tailor sold her crates at 1000cr each. I'm not sure if she was making that up or if her regular tailor just sells things below cost...

She came and picked it all up, but I'm still pretty furious that my guildmate had to be put in the situation of defending my pricing to some rude chick who knew nothing about the fair market price. Thatgirl was so on the verge of getting on the list of folks who get my other super special price, the higher one reserved for people who are a pain.

I sell all crates of tailors comps at a rate of 2.5k per crate.

I cannot keep enough in stock as they all fly off my vendor, i have had AS asking me for special rates for 20 crates, but i tell them that 2.5k is a special rate.

I also put all the crates on the vendors and people get what they need, I dont take orders for 20 crates, if people want it they can come and buy it with everyone else - this is the fairest wasy of dealing with all the customers i have for it.

I have not encountered any rudeness yet from anybody for it, if anything most people seem grateful to find a supply for it.

I have 3 large miners going all the time and 2 factories so it makes sense for me to chuck a factory run when I have down time from my 'real' side of tailoring.
