Thread: Tailor Experimentation?
Pretty much the rest of our thoughts exactly. We want meaningful experimentation. We want our material quality to matter. We want as much of a crafting game as any other crafter. That's one of the main reasons I wanted clothing decay. But they put in stupid percentage based death decay instead of use decay, so we still didn't get experimentation.
I'm seriously thinking about giving up tailoring in a month or two. Our only real fun factor is schems and colors, which is fun, but is getting a little old to me if that's all there is. Especially if we don't start getting some new schems in.
Yeah, same here! I got all these cool resources and they have neat stats, I want to be like an armorsmith and gotta pick the best resources for the job!
Ohh.....armorsmithing......those were the days..........
Back when grinding macro's were nowhere to be seen, when the profession provided interest and meaning........(I'll hold back the tears............................)
Armorsmithing is VERY demanding...especially if you leave your title on for prolonged periods of time. I don't mean to scare off any potential Armorsmiths, but people demand absurd quality, at absurdly low prices (and resource hunting is tedious)
Sorry for being pessimistic, I'm only trying to give you a heads up ![]()

Yeah I have had to cut off all my custom tailor orders just to stay sane for the moment. And I expect that I won't be doing custom orders for armor either, friends and long-standing loyal customers being the exception. I won't ever put my master armorsmith title on, I learned that lesson travelling around with my master tailor tag on and getting 20 tells a minutewhenever I walked past a spaceport. They like to assume you carry your house-filling arensal of supplies at all times and can pull master items magically out of your butt on demand. I assume it's similar for armorsmith
