Good sellers?
Anything black *sigh*. Once you can make the gunman's duster, it'd be worth always having a whole crateful of black ones on you, for every time you meet someone asking "I want to look just like thatdude in the Matrix!"
But seriously... I suppose there's two things you can do: you can focus on simply crafting and selling the more popular items, or you can think up good-looking combinations and sell custom-made outfits to your customers in person. The latter is more work, but it is much more rewarding, and if you do it well you will have lots of return customers. Another advantage of that approach is that you can put together good-looking outfits with low-level clothing, so you'll generate an income while you level up.
A few of mytop sellers: Gunmans Duster, all of the 'skimpy'clothes (bikini's, wraps, etc), Twi-lek lekku things, Comfy slacks, Dress blouse, Exquisite dress, Formfitting undershirt, and Casual shirt and Jacket (oh yes... they go well in many outfits)
I actually started by going up the Formal pillar first (just a personal preference), then the Techniques pillar. The latter is very useful because of the extra color options, and I made much more sales after I was able to offer better color options. Heh, I ended up doing Field last, since by that time I had a lot of entertainers as clients and Casual suited them better. If you're not after grinding to Master as fast as possible, I'd say each of the three pillars (Formal, Casual and Field) has good, popular items in them.
Oh, if you have some cash to invest and you know a Bioengineer, get a few BE skill enhancements and put them into clothing. Many people don't bother with BE enhanced clothing since it can be a pain finding the ones you need, but if you can offer custom clothing with a variety of BE enhancements, you may be able to build a name for yourself and have lots of sales even when you haven't made Master yet.
