I have a few of the CH tissues +14 to taming of wild and vicious creatures. These tissues take 25+ milk...and I know milk runs at least 1k each. Wondering what to charge for a piece of clothing with +14 to taming...as I know these are very very rare.

Anyone seen CH clothing for sale..and if so..what is a reasonable price?

On Chilastra, I see thembeing auctioned off starting at 500k a piece. I haven't been fortunate enough to have any of these clothes to sell, but since you do, best of luck.

Please take this as a single data-point - not a trend. For a trend you'll need to look at what others report.

The only way I was able to get milk is to offer 10k per unit, and at that I've only been able to get my hands on 50 units - this means that on Valcyn at least, milk seems to have a 'market price' somewhere above 10k/unit.

I made a shirt with +14 Taming and put it up for auction with a starting bid of 400k.

I got one interested party that wanted it for 200k.

Nobody showed up for the auction.

I then sold it to the interested party in exchange for 325k credits and a dress with +25 Entertainer Healing.

This indicates to me that the 'market rate' for +14 Taming is somewhere less than 400k on Valcyn.

For me at least, at this point, there simply is no viable market for Taming clothing. *shrug* Yes, technically I've made a profit, however given the amount of creds that will vanish on any one of the three critfail oppurtunities and given that the milk isn't exactly free-flowing even at 10k per unit, this is just gambling without a large enough reward. Now, if I could get milk at 1k per unit, it would be another matter.

By requiring a near-holocron-rarity resource, SOE has made Taming very expensive to produce. CHs don't seem to particularly value the end result. This is contrary to every other BE bonus (ok, except for Business Accumen) - f.e. Master Doctors love getting +25 ActiveBiosensors (aka 25% improvement in all pack use).

I'll continue to work the other BE bonuses that can actually be had in factory run quantities - but for now Taming is not worth the risk.

To date I have made 1 set of CH clothing (a shirt and a pair of pants). We paid 1k per milk (on Valcyn) and have had lots of interest, except we aren't selling this set, it was intended for the person who gets us the milk...

We decided though, that the price was going to be in the mid 300's for each piece when we get more milk. No one has complained that the price is horribly outrageous at 350k, so we will probably keep it in that region.

I think that the reason there doesn't seem to be an active interest in CH clothing is because it's not widely available. When tissues were broken, I still made Medic and some Combat type clothing and sold them, but not as frequently as my non-enhanced clothing. Bleed Defense and Melee Defense were the slowest to get off the ground, but now, everyone wants them. Once a few people have them and talk about them, the interest goes up. Also, keep in mind for the the higher end BE clothing (The items that take 4-7 Identical cloths and CH enhancements) a majority of the buyers have experimented with lower end, more reasonably priced clothing and decided that it was worth the investment. As soon as more and more CH clothing is out there, there will be more and more buys who are willing to spend the money.

I also had a critical failure on these very expensive tissues.. I was po'ed to say the least.

However, someone brought me some taming tissues, I made him 3 pair of pants, 2 jackets, and 2 shirts and a swoop helm and he let me have 2 of the tissues in exchange. I sold a wooking taming sages hood for 350,000 credits and also have a duster with mask scent/camouflage and taming, but I may have priced it too high because it has not yet sold. I may mark it down to 500,000 and see what happens.
