Why not instead of new types of wookie clothing. They just put two types of every schematic, one regular, one wookie. Wookie clothing would take 2x as many resources to make compared to regular schematic.

this could also work for armor, but thats for a diffrent tread.

Because Wookiees aren't supposed to have a closet full of clothes. Wookiees are tribal creatures, dare I say primative... yes they have a language, but it's not quite as developed as some of the other humanoids. Hey, I have a dog, I love my dog, and he conveys what he wants or needs through a language of sorts, there's the "Someone's at the door mom want me to bite 'em for you" bark, the "I'mmmm soooo hungry... even though you just fed me 20 minutes ago, I'mmm starving" bark, and my personal favorite the "Evil squirrels must die" bark/whine. I understand him and he understands me, but it doesn't mean that he should necessarily wear the same clothing that I do.

Wookiees are not suppoed to have ball gowns or uniform jackets. A human can't wear a Twi'lek Lekku Wrap and a Twi'lek can't wear a Decorative Headdress. Yes, Wookiees should have a large selection, but it shouldn't be a "wookiee version" or all of the schematics.

er....read the bio on wookiees, your post makes you sound stupid.

Wooks are highly intelligent and good with high level technology. I don't see a dog flying the Falcon.

ok, so lets take u're metaphor, you do know that there are clothes for dogs, even armor. You're stupid meter has gone up

Why not just allow armor layers to be added into the clothes? For example, 3 Energy layers, depending on experimentation, could add 30% energy resist on a wookie peice of clothing. They would still not be wearing armor since the light armor base that is on all armor would not be there, but they would have resists. Plus, since there are layers for every kind of damage and options to what kind and how many layers to put in to the different peicesthe limits are pretty infinite.

Just a thought....

Wookies recieve bonus HAM points at the start and it is clearly discussed that they can't wear the same items. This is the balance to recieving the extra HAM. If not everyone would be Wookie. Not to mention the fact that in every comic, film, novel, etc. (except the cheesy Holiday episode) Wookies wear no clothing at all. Wookies should not be able to wear any clothing so be glad you have any. I would say teh staff at Lucas Arts was generous enough to grant that diversion from SW. If you want clothing and armor dont be a Wookie, if you want extra HAM and some great bonuses be a Wookie but dont expect to wear bright red ball gowns or formal jackets.
