From what I read somewhere at somepoint if you put two or moreSEA tapes on one piece of clothing, ony one works?

There are problems with tapes that have more than one stat mod. If you put these into sockets chances are that one of the extra mods on the tape will vanish for good. It sucks and there have been a lot of threads asking for this to be fixed.

ok, so multiple stats on individual tapes are bugged, but not multiple tapes on individidual pieces of clothing?

Yeah that's what I've heard, but through experience I've only put up to 2 single-skill tapes into a garment. Those two that I used showed up just fine. One was a +2 clothing repair and the other was a +4 artisan experimentation tape.
