TH's answer to a DE question. I really hope they lower, no raise it for them.. or we will get some new crap we gotta get from someone. I don't wanna deal with that its just not fun. I dont mind loosing a few skill points as a sacrifice. But being required to get parts from other people to MAKE MONEY is scarey.

21.) Why are Droid Engineers dependant on Master Artisan components directly or indirectly (subcomponents of components) for at least 41 of the items in the Droid Engineering lines, but no other crafting profession even begins to approach this level of dependency?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We agree. In the not too distant future, either all dependencies are going up or your dependencies are going down. Its way too early to talk about which way that’s going to go at this point in time…

Armorcrafters depend on tailored materials (crated no less) for most if not all pieces of armor. Amorcrafters depend on master artisan components for PSG's. This seems a little unreasonable.

I perfectly understand being dependent on other profs to make a BETTER product. But not being able to make a product from your profession at all without a very very very different profession is stupid.

Karma thats a wonderful point and I agree. Like DE's can make BETTER armor on bots with composite armor segments but it does not stop them from makin them. Good point.

It's all part of fine-tuning things, all professions need each other to a certain degree to ensure that everyone get's a cut of the commerce pie, rather than the wealth being unevely funneled into one profession or another. When done right it shouldn't be too painful, but when done wrong........ Let's just say I hope they don't screw it up
