It makes color swatches so much easier.

Ugh! I'm so strapped for storage space, no way do I have the space for something like that. One thing I do use the vertical item movement for though is putting food and drinks on tables. Makes for a very very cool ambience.

Well my inspiration was Smi, but I didn't have the space... and then vertical movement happened. I want to see!

It would mean more space for smi. He could consolidate the whole room into a smaller space. Maybe 25% above and just behind the shirt infront of it. That way it looks like a clothing rack, and people can click /examine the one they think looks best for them and see.

I really love the vertical changes. I've wanted to do some table layouts with food for a long time in my small houses, as well as adjust things on the top floor of my medium.

Behold!
The Holotron 5000!!
This is why *I* love vert movement. Wait til I show you the stove and fridge I made For some strange reason I decided to make my house like, you know, an actual house with all the needed rooms. And yes, I'm making a bathroom

I am SOOOO happy with vertical movement - my shop now is starting to have that intimate little storefront feeling I've been wanting for so long.

Still need to redo some of my displays for color - but I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I'm not going to post any screenshots - but if anyone would like to pop by the shop and have a look - feel free. Radiant server - just west of needful things - loc is listed on the website.

Friend of mine did put some shots on the web - he built a chandilier in his guildhall using an arrangement I have in my shop - just multiplied a LOT and taken to the extreme. I don't have high enough ceilings (or the item count) to do this. http://files.worldofwhatnot.com/swg/screenShot0042.jpg One nemodian bird cage and two bestine candles are just lovely together for a small one.

All those shirts means that the item limit in the color house is hit, so the extra space I could get is not usable. I should post some screens of the other houses...

All I can say is, I'd hate to be the person that has to replace all those candles when they decay!

Hehehe good point. I hope they recorded their exact world position and rotation in the Ctrl-Shift-G window, which by the way I recommend everyone use when doing finely-constrained item manipulation.

Ooo a color display is the first thing I did after getting Master Tailor (last week). I was so excited about my new colors. It took me ages to name them all though I had a customer order an outfit in "lemon" and "sage" yesterday, which inspired the dinner I cooked last night hehe = lemon, sage, & peppergrilled chicken. Here's my color display. The sand----mocha and white----black displays are on the wall behind Kwee (notshown).
