i personally feel 3k is selling ourselves short. i mean bio engineers charge a fortune for the bio components tailors use and chefs use.

chefs charge a fortune for the foods.

i think we should at least charge 6k for a crate of trim. but thats just me. its not like we would be making a killing at those prices.

I've always thrown them on my vendor at 4000 per crate, but that was always on the assumption that they were basically there for my own use, and maybe for some random tailor walk-in who happened to need a crate or two. I'm thinking I might up the price to 6000 now.

Oddly, I haven't really sold much Trim, so maybe 4000 is "too high" anyhow. Though I also don't really advertise my component sales very heavily, because I don't want *tons* of business in that line.

The difference is that the resources needed to make tissues and chef enhancements are harder to get than the fiberplast and inert petrochemical that we need in order to make trim. That said, I usually trade a certain amount of trim for a certain amount of brandy or other chef food. It works out well for me!

Ooh, I like that bartering idea! Was never terribly feasible with the armorsmith supplies (or at least not for more than one suit of armor, which is all most tailors - at most! - are likely to ever need....)

My ID character Eimi goes through a lot of brandy! For some reason it is a lot easier to image design when you are drunk.

Remember that trim is only hot right now for casks...When they fix barrels then say goodbye to tthe trim market. I don't think the trim is used in Barrels.

I've got trim for sale at 3,125 credits. I'd rather be charging 3,750 and might change if business picks up too much more. I think the biggest way we sell ourselves short is by making schematics for other professions. I mean, when was the last time you found an Artisan and had him/her make you a schematic for weapon powerups? ...and that's a basic profession.

Pretty much all my components sell for 10cpu regardless of who I'm selling to, and what they can make a profit on it. That is the way I do business, and I don't ask others to do the same. So for 25 trim at 25 resources at 10cpu = 6250 for a crate.

this is true but we also dont really know what the barrel bonus will really be. and in trying to gather some components to test barrels i havent been able to find people selling power conditioners. i have found control units for about 4k per crate.

sure fiberplast is cheaper if you harvest your own or have friends help you, for some reason most players just dont get the fact quality dont mean anything in crafting tailor components like synth cloth and trim so im not paying 5 credits or more for fiberplast and then selling thecrates for 3k a crate at a loss.

i think im just not a good crafter player and will probably just forget about doing these professions they are ok to test awhile but i just cant hang with it full time. kudos to all of you who do. it is thankless work collecting all the resources and crafting the numerous items everyone wants.
